You can connect to multiple databases simultaneously. There must be some credential issue with your second database. Use 4.8 or the latest version of the dashboard builder. The latest version shows you an error message with code if it is not able to connect to your database.

When you upgrade from a FREE version to a commercial edition, you need to take care of the following:

1. Take a backup copy of your existing FREE version in a separate folder.
2. Unzip the commercial version and replace all the existing files.
3. Copy and replace the “store” folder from the backup copy.
4. Copy and replace data.xml and layout.xml from the backup copy.

The same steps apply when you upgrade to a new version.

Thanks, for liking our product Dashboard Builder. You can upgrade your license just paying the difference amount within the supporting period. However, after the supporting period, you need to purchase afresh upgraded license if needed.
