Plus Sybase, Cubrid and other databases through their drivers or ODBC. The cloud edition connects to databases that are reachable from the internet; the self-hosted edition also reaches databases on your private network.

How to connect a data source

1

Open the data connection panel. In the dashboard designer, click the database icon.

2

Choose the source type. Pick the database, or choose a file (Excel, CSV, PDF), Google Sheets or JSON.

3

Enter the details. Server, database, user and password for a database; upload or paste a link for a file or sheet.

4

Check the connection. A green check means you are connected. A red cross usually means wrong credentials, a firewall rule or a missing PHP driver.

5

Query and chart. Use the SQL builder or write SQL, map the columns and pick a chart.

Mixing sources on one dashboard

Each chart has its own connection, so one dashboard can show orders from MySQL, targets from Google Sheets and supplier costs from a PDF invoice. For ideas, see the data visualization tool and BI dashboard guides.

Yes. Each chart has its own connection, so one dashboard can combine several databases and files.
Check the credentials, that the database accepts connections from the Dashboard Builder server, and that the PHP driver for that database (for example PDO_MySQL or PDO_SQLSRV) is installed.
